This beautiful Moroccan country house leaves you breathless as soon as you are in front of it for its massiveness, the beauty of its big stone walls and for its sober architecture. You really feel that sense of the Moroccan countryside… a sense of magic. It has been constructed according to traditional techniques and materials but also to modern comfort. The house faces south east and enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views over open countryside towards the hills on the east and the Atlantic Ocean on the west.
Accommodation in Dar Albatros features eight B&B rooms but is also available as self catering apartment for 8-10 persons. The rooms arecosy, comfortable and have been furnished with great charm in respect of local craftsmanship and style.
Location
Dar Albatros is located near the attractive beach of Sidi Kaouki (5 minutes by car), famous for its great surf spot, e.g., The Cave/La Grotte boasts the biggest waves in the area (approximately 5 kms from Sidi Kaouki village on the road to Essaouira). For the ones that do not like to surf, the surroundings of Sidi Kaouki have many great places to explore on foot, on horseback/dromedaire or by quat.
Dar Albatros is the perfect base for a short get away or longer stays. The house is situated at 20 minutes from the airport ‘Essaouira Mogador’ and you can be in Essaouira in less than 35 minutes.
